1. Firstly, drain the coolant from the radiator and engine body, then close the drain plug and add tap water and cleaning agent to the radiator.


2. Start the engine and run it at a speed slightly higher than low idle. When the pointer on the temperature gauge reaches the green area, continue running the engine for about ten minutes.


3. Turn off the engine and open the drain plug, rinse the cooling system with tap water until the discharged water is clean.



In addition, it should be noted that for equipment that experiences boiling due to high water temperature, if the equipment still experiences high water temperature after cleaning the water tank, the following aspects can be investigated:



1. Recheck the filter screen next to the radiator of the excavator. Due to the different homework environment of the excavator, there may be dust or willow catkins adsorbed on the radiator filter screen, causing the water temperature of the excavator to rise and the boiler to boil.


2. Is the air conditioning of the excavator activated? If the air conditioning is on, it is recommended to check whether there is still a phenomenon of excavator boiling at high temperature after turning off the air conditioning? If the excavator can work normally after the air conditioning is turned off, the reason for the equipment's high temperature boiling fault after cleaning the water tank is the damaged air conditioning sensor.


3. Check if the hydraulic oil temperature of the excavator is high? If the oil temperature is high, it may also cause the excavator to boil due to high water temperature.



Maintenance method for excavator water tank: Firstly, after inspection by the engineering machinery maintenance technician, it was found that the cooling water capacity was sufficient and the cooling fan drive belt was working normally. Then, after the excavator maintenance technician removed the thermostat, the water temperature gauge still showed high temperature. Continuing the inspection, it was found that the impeller of the cooling water pump was severely worn. Therefore, a new water pump was replaced, but the fault was still not eliminated, So the excavator maintenance technician began to carefully eliminate every detail. Where are the training materials for excavator maintenance? After comparing them, they found that the diameter of the engine's circulating water pipe was the same as that of the outlet pipe, but the diameter of the small circulating water pipe was relatively large, resulting in the engine's cooling water still in a small circulating state. Most of the water did not undergo heat dissipation before forming a high-temperature state, which led to the high temperature phenomenon mentioned above, Troubleshooting after replacing the thermostat.
